01 Heroes roll dice

With the release of 4.0 nearly upon us, I just thought I’d make a quick tribute to Eberron via D&D 3.5. For those of you who don’t know what D&D is, it stands for Dungeons and Dragons, and is a tabletop role-playing game wherein players roll dice to determine stats and attack foes, who are controlled by a DM (Dungeon Master), who rolls, speaks, draws and narrates the entire adventure.

Dice and sugar

I started playing my freshman year of college, and though I’ll make no claims to being a good player, I have certainly had a lot of fun. It’s been a great chance to just hang out with a bunch of awesome friends, draw silly pictures on the white board, and eat sugar. Even when sessions got long (because even though they were always at least three hours long, sometimes it just FELT long), it was still worth it.

Firehat

With graduations riddling the ranks of my party and the coming of afore mentioned 4.0 (which sounds amazing. Played a one-shot with it, and had oodles of fun), the future of D&D in my life is uncertain. But I shall hold onto my dice, and when the time is right, I shall roll them.

For the good of all.

In my junior firefighter hat.
